Kelly Elementary School Reviews

By , a Parent on

I'm feeling really frustrated in the mornings when dropping my child off.  I discussed this matter with several parents and teachers..  Seems everyone felt there was nothing that could be done.  I have almost been hit by a parent in a large truck with large side mirrors pulling up the wrong way to drop their child/childern off.. Double parking to let kids out of the cars through cross traffic. Arguments between parents, almost to fist fights.  All the while there is only one teacher to man all the disfunctional and dangerous behavior that occurs every morning.  I thought school was supposed to be safe?? Does anyone hear this?????  Where is the princple?  Why isn't there a priorty to create a SAFE drop off in the morning?  Can we get a police officer to help enforce some sort of safety out there?  It's sad I want to feel good about dropping my child off in the morning.. My child is a third grader, this is the first year that we have had to drive to school.  Before we walked. Surely this should be a concern for the kids sake and Parents need the knowledge...
