Abington Junior High School
Teachers are very good (after two years at this school).
Lots of activities for the kids to join.
In regards to post re "communication" I have no problem.  School has a website packed with info.  I had to contact an assistant principal once and he got right back to me.
In regards to post re "old racist practices" , seems like there are more asian kids than twenty years ago, and the black population is steady.  Apparently those folks did not get the memo.

Administration within Abington Jr. High demonstrates poor communication with parents and gaurdians. They are a large and powerful entity and behave with little regard to the rights and desires of parents.  The administration prematurely rushes to judge students and actions with little thought to the reprocussions.  I have multiple children at this school and I am disappointed in the care that they receive at this school.

Abington Junior High School
This school represent the old racist practices of America and I would not recommend this school to non-white students. Their teaching practices do not align with the state standards and though the classrooms are small, the teachers are not caring and will isolate a child who does not fit their idea of a white student. The school creates hostile learning experiences while not encouraging students to reach their fullest potential but rather to fit into a mold that is cultural. Accepting cultural differences is not a practice of this school. I would not recommend this school to your child unless you are desiring to throw your child to the wolves because devouring is a common practice of this school.  My experience there has been extremely negative and I am desiring to make people aware of their practices because they are a large organization who have historically caused grief for many minorities.
