Bradford Area High School Reviews
We are lucky to have this resource in our community.
In a high poverty, high welfare community, we have hope in our schools. The high school has great teachers and staff. They've worked so hard to bring opportunities to our children not found outside of the well off suburb and academy schools. We have advanced placement courses, career and tech/per-engineering courses, and college courses at the school. Students also take courses at the local university for free. (This is in a school district that hasn't raised taxes in 13 years!). My daughter just attending a STEM workshop and is now more sure than ever that she wants to be a chemist.
The only reason I can't say it's a 5 star school is the parents and community. So many of them are so negative. They fight -yes fight! to keep the schools from helping their kids get on track and be someone in life. How sad. I only wish the business community and community leaders would stand up and be counted.
