Lauren Marino: This is my child's first year in Buchanan school. There were some problems at the beginning of the year, due to the fact that my specific instructions concerning my child's dietary needs were COMPLETELY ignored. These were resolved for the most part by volunteering my time in the classroom.
The staff are cheery and caring, although I would like to see more "fun" intergrated in the classrooms.
As a foot note, I will say that minority children and children with younger parents are treated with less respect than that of well to do parents...
