I think the administration and teachers in this district need to be retrained to identify students in need of special services. I think a student in need of an IEP should receive one sooner than sixty days. I think the faculty have lost sight of the idea that some students have mental and emotional problems and are not bad students but instead good students in need of help and are acting bad because of it. I feel there needs to be some changes made at an administrative level and some new teachers or more children will slip through the cracks out of sheer laziness.
