This school is just as handicapped as many other schools in America today. Residents do not want to pay more school tax to improve their schools, yet they complain when the district has to cut to only a half day kindergarten. The district rarely succeeds in meeting it's testing minimums, and often times misses by quite a large percentage. The board is trying to undercut the teachers by forcing them to "teach the test" and the children are suffering for it. In a class of 25 kids (average size?) one teacher has 5 kids with learning disabilities 3 who are ESL and a huge huge difference between the best reader and worst reader in the class. How on earth is she suposed to teach everyone?
