Dickey Elementary School
alexladika: I think that in general, it's a great school for the kids. Now that I found the website(s) a lot of information that parents need to know is readilly available. That's good, because we all know our kids don't tell us much at at about what goes on during their school day, and most importantly, information that we need to know. If you are a parent and want to be actively involved in your childs life. I also think, and thank you, for hiring a security officer, who I see almost every morning at the front door. Smart move. He should also be there evan more importantly, after school, when the kids scramble out the back doors, and try to find their parent(s). I feel he would be most needed there, instead of the front door. Just some thoughts I had that I think are important. One more...offer individual counseling for children with problems at home, and behavior problems of any kind. I think that would be a huge addition to the guidance department. If such counseling exists already, I would like to know about it. ...
