This school got too big too fast. Disorganized. Has a few great teachers but most are average and a few are really lacking.  Teachers go on vacation or get sick and have no substitute just a 2-20 minute pre-recorded class. Curriculum is slow and the asynchronous program is like a correspondance course..GONE WRONG.  PhysEd and Art Program are boring.  Great school for the underachiever.   Do the research.....other cyber schools have much more to offer if your child is motivated.  The only plus is their Schoology program is easy to read and follow....if only all teachers would post information and homework the same way but....that's where the disorganization comes in...It's a business..in need of some reorganization.

It allows exceptionally well educated students complete their secondary education when traditional schools have left them without a choice.

Janette: How wonderful it is to find a school that can be molded to address the needs of each child independently.  Each child learns differently and this school allows for that.  It will work with your child's strengths while putting into place strategies to specifically address their weaknesses. This is not a school that will make your child feel isolated, rather they go far beyond our expectations in providing opportunities for our family to be involved in and around our community.  My son has made some of his closest friendships through this school, and now that he is in high school, he has been gaining the freedom, independence, and confidence that he will need to help maneuver him through his college years.

Valerie: I have been very happy with this cyberschool.  The teachers, especially Mrs. Liggett, have been helpful and responsive to questions and problems.  They use the K12 curriculum which is fun, colorful and adaptive to my kids' needs.  The tech support team has solved problems quickly and effectively.  I am glad my kids are part of this innovative school!
