Cook-Wissahickon School Reviews
As far as public schools go in our area, Cook is one of the better alternatives, but the administrators can only do so much. There are many fine reasons to send your children to Cook: a great principal who loves what she does, many fine teachers, who have not yet tired of their craft, and a very clean and large building with great classrooms. The only downsides have been some teachers' comments that sound as if they are a frustrated lot and many of the students who have poor support at home. That said, this is a school filled with poor inner city kids that is doing its best, and if you want a no-tolerance public school, this is it in the area.
