I have two children at the Academy, and they're both very happy and thriving. The teacher-student ratio is, for the most part, great, and the teachers are incredibly attentive and helpful. There are plenty of sports and clubs to get involved in, some of which have received national recognition. In a nutshell, it's a perfect blend of academics and extra-curricular's.

Peggy: All three of my children entered Sewickley Academy in the 9th grade. This was a perfect time to come to Sewickley Academy for us. My oldest has been very successful in her career, made her fortune and is now a stay-at-home mother of 3. I am very confident in the quality of education that my children receive and feel that the Academy prepares them for college and thereafter. I learned at an early age that education is an assest that no one can take from you; my grandmother left me a trust fund to be used for educational purposes only. Any investment in education is well spent and never regretted.

My children did attend this school and we felt that we had no choic ebut to remove our children.  It is not a safe environment and school has repeatedly put their fundraising before the welfare of the children.

Sewickley Academy has been a great disappointment for our family.  The faculty are less qualified than faculty in the public schools.  There are no social opportunities for students.  The students who have attended since Kindergarten and whose families have attended in the past are unwelcoming to new students in middle and senior schools.  The education is inferior to that of the public schools and other private institutions.  We left and will never look back.
