Sheileen: Our school is fantastic, a real community where parents are involved and teachers respond to their each child's needs and learning style.  Starkweather has a wonderful support team that helps the children with Speech support, reading support.  Parents come in and help with handwriting, and reading- both of which I have done.  Our school is a wonderful learning enviroment.  We also have great specials that the PTO host the most recent was a dance for the entire school with a DJ and all the children had a wonderful time.  We are raising money this year by having parents and teachers submit recipies and a cook book was compiled and now for sale.  All proceeds go right back into supporting the school and hosting events and field trips for the children.  We are a Blue Ribbon school and I feel the best in Chester County, you couldn't ask for anything more for your child to suceed!
