Belton Middle School Reviews
Well, I had rather tell you about Anderson School District 2 so that I can include the other Belton primary and elementary schools my grandson who has autism as attended. When Sean entered first grade, the teachers, principal, the entire staff worked to help him become as successful as was possible. He has been mainstreamed with a shadow from day 1. Being able to be with typical children these 7 years (1st grade twice), has given him a way to learn typical behaviors from his peers. Having a shadow as well as some had courses streamlined for him has given him an opportunity to learn in a different way than is the norm. We live in a small area where there is not a large population of children who have autism, so making a way for Sean to succeed had to be figured out each step of the way. I'm so very thankful that they gave him, and still do, the opportunities that has enriched his life socially as well as academically. (Sean is our grandson who has always lived with my husband and me.)
That would really be better for the parents and kids!!!
