First Baptist School Reviews
A joke! Teachers and especially administration hide behind a very zealous and "fake" outward portrayal of staunch Christian beliefs and "lifestyles". It is a shame, and the reason the school no longer enjoys it's once popular traditional reputation. Many individuals in administrative positions so desperately grasp at the opportunity to be seen as a very dedicated and loyal Christian that they have no idea of how to truly live a Christian life.
Many and mostly the same individuals see thier meager position to be thier only means to be considered "pseudo-blue bloods", from CHARLESTON.
As a parent, I hear frequently from very talented and dedicated teachers that have found a way to enjoy the humor of what they call "the fakers" and they keep working hard until they find another position. This is the only way they survive among and within this facade of a school.
Do not consider this school if you are truly concerned about raising your child "honestly" or if Acacdemics are important.
This school needs a total "cleansing" from top to bottom in order to survive and move forward. Get some of these administartive people who have little or no classroom experience out of the way. For example, a lower school principal who taught "Yearbook", and start over!!
