I checked with Heathwood Hall. Their faculty, staff, and alumni are eligible for financial scholarships.

Actually, the kids don't all get free tuition. They get a scholarship discount. If you saw the paychecks you'd understand why they get a financial break.

This will be my first year transferring my children to Heathwood.  My complaint is there seem to be few people actually paying tuition.  It appears if you grandparents work there, their grandchildren go free.  If you're a secretary, your children go free.  I could understand teachers getting a discount or having their children go free but some of these people are in their early 20's, mom's don't work and because their grandparents are on the school board or a Ben Lippen employee, the grandchildren go free.  I do not think that is the way things should work.  Also, several other parents I know are pulling out this year, not only because of the economy but because favoritism is shown to the children of employees (regarding discipline, etc.)  If you call St. Andrews, you rarely get an answer, its just too chaotic.  Heathwood is closer to my home and I think will provide a better Christian environment for my children as well as provide a better quality education.
