Islamic Academy of Columbia Reviews
I sent my child here for a year, it was a mistake and never again. Teachers are not qualified to teach, Administrators are not qualified to administer; its just a mess. Poor communication (actually zero communication) between parents and teachers. No guarantee your child's teacher will receive your email or phone message. YOu're not allowed to write notes for the teacher in their planner, so yea... good luck knowing what's going on in your child's classroom. [Content deleted by Education.com] There are no policies or procedures for anything or what to do in case of an emergency. and dont bother complaining, they will not listen to what you have to say and will instead lecture you on your tone. really? should i smile and sing your praise when i'm angry with your lack of everything??? if you're a parent who only cares about islamic education then this is the place for you, if you're like the rest of us and want the whole package, pick a good public or charter school and send your child to sunday school.
I would like to inform anyone that wants to send their child to this school is please DO NOT Make the same mistake I did by sending my 2 children to this school. The teachers are not qualified. My child's teacher went away to complete her teaching degree and a 19 year teacher came to teach my children. They charge 4500 a year. For a 19 year old that just finished high school a year ago and now was teaching my child.
