Oak Grove Elementary School
CBrimmer: This school is wonderful with involvement. Everyone from the lunch and cleaning staff, to teachers in other grades know my daughters name. The volunteer opportunities are wonderful and the classrooms are always welcoming to parents. I would not change schools for any other in the district. The only halfway negative thing is that gifted/talented children really don't have a lot until higher grades. My daughters teacher is wonderful with finding harder things for my child to do, but of course the majority of the classwork is geared to the majority of the class. However, children who are behind are not allowed to remain so and there are several programs within school hours to help them catch up. Altogether wonderful school.
