About This School
Good Shepherd Lutheran School was established by the congregation of Good Shepherd to provide a quality education for children who are in the congregation. The congregation also seeks to provide education to any children living in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. Our school's mission is to welcome all students and share with them a well rounded curriculum as well as the Word of God. For many years our students have achieved testing scores that equal or surpass the schools in Sioux Falls. We are delighted to have been able to provide a quality education for the past 30 years. Our school provides education from 4 year old preschool through the eighth grade. Good Shepherd Lutheran School is accredited through the state of South Dakota. Our teachers are experienced, highly qualified, and share of love for God's Word as well as love for each student.
In 2010, Good Shepherd Lutheran had 10 students for every full-time equivalent teacher. The South Dakota average is 13 students per full-time equivalent teacher.
