Colonial Middle School Reviews
i really love colonial itsreally a good school but I hate that we have to wear uniform can we plz just wear regular clothes like the other ones
To Parent, have you thought that maybe perhaps it was you or your child's fault for your negative experience at the schools. I find it hard to believe that all Memphis City Schools are the absolute worst. My son graduated from Colonial Middle. I have given my grandson the opportunity to attend Colonial Middle this school year. I will be there to work with him and the school to make sure he suceeds. As parents we should make sure the fault for our children failure does not start with us. I am not saying that all schools are great Memphis City Schools, but it's our duty to work to make them better for our children.
Memphis City Schools are the absolute worst. I pity any child stuck in this system. The teachers are terrible. The administration is terrible. Thank God I was able to send my child somewhere else. My experience was awful. Simply trying to speak to anyone there was like pulling teeth. This school is TERRIBLE!!! Just because they built a new school does not mean anything folks. New school, same terrible place. If I could give it a negative rating I would do so quickly!!!!
I think that Colonial Middle School is well rounded. They keep a good learning atmostphere for the students to learn. Keep the students in a positive evironment and they will excell. Keep doing what you are doing Colonial Middle.
Colonial is an amazing school. Colonial's CAPA program (Creative and Performing Arts) at it's best. I would reccomend to any concerned parent or student. The teachers are friendly and strive to get the job done. I beleive they have the top notch teachers in the mid-south. I had a great learning apportunity during all my 3 years at Colonial. I was apart of the CAPA department. They have choir, band, drama, creative writing, art, orchestra, dance, and honors classes to offer. If you are interested in Colonial please call the wonderful Mrs. Pamela Williams she is the CAPA corrdinator and veiws yours childs application for entry into Colonial. Take my word as a student Colonial won't let you down. Also they are building a new school, it will be complete for the second semester for the 2009/10 school year.
