About the TCAP.EOC
What is it?
The Tennessee Gateway/End-of-Course (EOC) Exams are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which grades and subjects?
High School students are assessed upon the completion of courses in language arts, math, science and social studies.
How is it scored?
Students receive a score of below proficient, proficient or advanced. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level. Students must pass the Algebra I, English II and Biology I tests, called the Gateway exams, to receive a high s
