Wearwood Elementary School Reviews
I went to this school in 5th and 6th grade, and my brother still attends this school today. I would first of like to say that it is a very small school, so it gives the students more of a hands on learning enviroment. Second is that it is a bad school to send your child to if you are worried about how much they will learn and benifit from it. I hated every second of it there just because I wasn't learning the material I needed to learn and I wasn't able to reach my full potental. In 6th grade I was taking basic math and my teacher didn't let me take the test to see if I was ready for pre algrabra the following year. She only let a few kids take it. If you made a certain score on the test, then you took pre-algrabra in 7th grade. I belived I was ready for it but the teacher wouldn't even let me try. I moved shortly after and was taught a lot more at the other school. I started 7th grade at a school in Roane county and was so far ahead of the other kids in normal math. If my teacher would have just let me take that test, I would be able to accomplish greater things then what I have so far.
we love Wearwood school, the teachers and the principal are very caring and are very interactive with the parents.
In onw word, AWSOME!
