I'm a sophomore at Allen High School and it's a generally a respectable campus. The district is very hands on with their students and they make sure that they have the most recent and up-to-date technology. Since Allen is a small town with only one high school, the school spirit is overwhelming through the halls and football games. Eventhough the entire town comes together in one communtity, the high school is actually seperated. There's no sense of unity in the school. When you think of allen, you only think of the wealthier, athletic group of student. There's not much variety as far as personality, eventhough there is variety ethnically. It is the traditional all-amercan school. Jocks, Cheerleaders, ghetto, wanna-be ghetto, "stoners", and everyone else doesn't need to be categorized because in the eyes of Allen High School, they don't matter. One teacher even told me she moved one student to the very corner of the classroom because he was "too wierd to sit near her." The classes are very fast paced and if you don't understand, the teachers get fustrated with you rather than help you.
