Argyle Intermediate School Reviews
2009/2010 is the second school year that this school has been open. It's a small school venue where everyone knows everyone. Which leads to accountability from both the students and the teachers. The school is ran very similar to a middle school so it prepares students for middle school life but in a much smaller school setting.
The challenges are communication with teachers because there are very little parent-teacher events to get to know the teachers. Most assignments are found on the teacher websites but are subject to change. Parents have to take on the task of keeping up with changes so their child does not fall behind without their knowledge.
Be aware that there is not a Learning Disability teacher assigned to this school. One person carries the student load of two schools. Therefore, students that should be seen four times a week are only getting services twice a week.
The good new is that the "good" does far out weigh the "bad."
