Arlington High School Reviews
The staff and faculty, are for the most part, excellent. We've only had one incident, where a teacher told my child she was "too stupid" to be in AP classes. I found this out through a mutual friend because my child didn't want to tell me and I will be addressing it with the principal.
Otherwise, the faculty is extremely supportive, going out of their way to assist children. Some stay after school and come in on weekends for tutoring, one purchased a special textbook for my child to study for one of her AP exams because I couldn't afford it, the fine arts department is phenomenal winning several contests. The band is the only program in the city that is growing--they are literally running out of uniforms! Thankfully they are getting new ones soon.
The school is going through a few renovations because of bond packages. It has a new chemistry lab, is getting a new cafeteria, new HVAC and other improvements.
I am so grateful my child attends this school!
