Aubrey High School
I went to Aubrey high school, born and raised. All I have to say is no one else needs the football field other then band. It never open unless it's reserved or someone who is responsible for whatever it is needed or has th key. The gym is not open because of how expensive I is to repair. If the gym is needed for basketball to practice then on you think it is basketballs responsibility to reserve or have the keys to have it open. Great school, great teachers, students and families.

Aubrey High School
THE ACADEMICS OF THE SCHOOL ARE VERY GOOD. THE ACTIVITIES OFFERED TO THE STUDENTS ARE VERY GOOD. THE 1 COMPLAINT IS THAT THE GYM IS NOT OPEN FOR THE BASKETBALL TEAM TO PRACTICE HARDLY AT ALL! ALL SPORTS NEED TO BE SUPPORTED NOT JUST FOOTBALL!

About the TAKS
What is it?
The TAKS is an annual test used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in Grades 3 through 9 in reading, in Grades 4 and 7 in writing, and in Grades 10 and 11 in English language arts. Math skills are assessed in Grades 3 through 11, and students are assessed in Grades 5, 8, 10, and 11 in science, and in Grades 8, 10, and 11 in social studies.
How is it Scored?
Students receive one of two ratings: met standard or commended performance. The goal is for all students to meet the state standard. Students must pass the TAKS tests in grades 3, 5, and 8 in order to be promoted to the next grade, and in grade 11 in order to graduate from high school.

The ACT is a national college admissions test used to assess student performance in high school curriculum areas.
