Deerpark Middle School Reviews
The left doesn't know what the right is doing. Especially special education. The ARD facilitator can be very condescending even though she is just as disorganized as everyone else. The staff, principal included thinks that if they ignore you, you will go away. I had to fight them to get my kid on the Special Ed bus last year. They are going to end up getting the district sued.
The crossing guard with her handwritten sign on poster board held up with rocks and cones in the middle of the road.....just flabbergasted at that one. Traffic is a nightmare at pick up time in the afternoon.
Seems that leadership is an issue here.

I agree, the school has changed from good to worst. Staff has now decided to become the law, (cops). Time to move your children to a school who listens to the parents.
Time to move to a good school.
we are moving to get away from this school...very poor teaching, lack of control/concern over students by faculty, no acedemic extracurriculars, poor state test ratings, lack of communication by teachers, lots of kids with no manners, no control over bullying
