Joslin Elementary School Reviews
Joslin has to be one of the best little elementary schools in Austin. This was my daughter’s first year at public school; she had been attending private school from PreK through 2nd Grade. She was tested for Dyslexia at the end of her 1st grade year and it was determined she was dyslexic. We tried to allow the private school to help her the following year but they just were not equipped to do so. She LOVES Joslin she has only been there one semester and is reading on grade level. She still needs to work on the stamina but I am just amazed at her progress she was a full year behind when we started even after attend a summer program before we got to Joslin. Her class teacher truly cares about the children and they know it. The reading specialist here is amazing and was the reason I chose this elementary. The kids are so nice, and if anyone every does start to not be nice the staff seems to be immediately aware and quickly responds to even smallest unkind act, such as laughing when someone falls. I just can’t say enough good things about this little school.
Great school experience. I would highly recommend this school to any parent.
