About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. See Raul Yzaguirre School for Success's test results to learn more about school performance.

Higher Education for Schools???? I think you mean higher education for our children Mrs. Salinas
This school is great. The dual language program is awsome. My son has been in this school since preK and now is in 1st grade. He writes/reads in Spanish and English. He is learning so much. I reccomend this school to any parent who wants higher education for schools.
My 4 year old attended the Raul Yzaguirre School in Brownsville Texas and at first I was not to sure how things were going to work with there dual language program but I have to say I was so very surprised at how well my daughter did in school. She learned so much and her teacher was excellant.
I am just so sadden that my son will not have the same oppertunity to start this year at the school since they did away with the 3 & 4 year old program. I wish there was something that can be done in order to bring back the pre-K 3 & pre-K 4 program to the school.
