About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. See Life School Oak Cliff's test results to learn more about school performance.

Life School Oak Cliff Reviews
I feel this school has gotten worse each school year my daughter is a student, getting suspended because other kids are fighting in front of you, even though you don't cheer them on or get into the fight yourself but you get the same consequences, unfair and poor staff
I have been a long time parent of LSOC for more than six years. I have seen administration change from good to horrible. All the changes and the staff who are incoming do not have the children or parents at heart. This school has went from family based to money based. I have been thoroughly disappointed and would not advise anyone to come. You will become a frustrated angry parent whose child reaps punishment because you are unhappy. TURN, RUN THE OTHER WAY BEFORE YOU ENROLL YOUR PRECIOUS CHILD IN THIS MAD DISASTER UNORGANIZED SCHOOL.
Life School for me as an educator has been a life building experience. Here I have had the opportunity to feel really supported as a teacher. There are few places where you can teach and know that the administrators and others are on your team and want you to grow and achieve. There are very few disipline problems, because the kids are familar with the discipline system. We are a school that caters to the whole family. There are parenting programs, and classes that are in place that help the parents to be involved in their child's education. Parents are being empowered as well as our students being prepared for life through learning. I am proud to be a Lion!
