South Oak Cliff High School Reviews
As a graduate of SOC Class of 2011, I have seen and heard so many negative things about my school. So many people said "the SCHOOL is horrible", talking about the WHOLE school in general. But no one doesn't want to talk about the GOOD things that takes place in the school. Majority of the students love community service projects and very talented & smart. Not all students are out of control, believe me, I know. From being raised in a bad home setting and community, I graduated #4 in my class with a GPA of 3.7 and Honors. Now, I'm attending Houston Baptist University, which is a private university in Houston, Texas. So while so many people can say all kinds of negative things about SOC, look at some of the people who have came out of the school and made a great name for themselves...like me!
This school is HORRIBLE..... The students are out of control. The test score are extremely low and the violence records are extremely high. Sometimes I fear coming to work because of how disorderly and out of control the students have become. they run down the halls, dont go to class, and if you try to correct them they will curse you out and threaten you. The campus sercurity is also horrible, they are never around when you need them and when they are around they dont control the students. This is no longer a school.... it is jungle....
