About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. Winfree Academy Charter School Denton Reviews
Great family environment where kids feel safe! So thankful to have the opportunity to work with such talented students.
a dedicated school that gives individual one on one attention to students in a low student ratio classroom setting resulting in achievements beyond expected abilities. Two teachers are special and over the top dedicated at Winfree Academy in Denton, Tx. Mr. Haworth teaches Math at Winfree and has moved my daughter way beyond her expectations in math preparing her for the exit level TAKS Test. Her science teacher, Ms. Davis has worked very hard too helping my daughter prepare to pass her Exit Level Science TAKS Test as well. She will pass her exit level, God willing! These two teachers will leave lifetime memories!
a great school where the staff really care in a small setting where evryone knows each other
