Canyon Hills Middle School Reviews
Couldn't have said it better!! Faculty is truly outstanding but principal needs a lot of work! According to the district spending record, apparently $8615 is supposedly spent per pupil, yet I just don't see that happening at Canyon Hills. The sole computer lab is a joke and can in no way service the student population and God only knows when it was updated, if ever, since it was first installed. There are empty classrooms in each of the buildings, yet no other computer labs have been added. I think Canyon Hills is one of the only middle schools where their teachers haven't received ipads like all the other ones, and the library is sorely lacking in capacity. It's smaller than most elementary libraries! Obviously technology and literacy aren't of great concern at Canyon Hills. Truly a sad state of affairs in my opinion. But, to end on a positive note, it seems to be a safe school without the issues of gangs and violence and drugs as was its reputation of the past. Kudos at least for that.
Faculty is really great. Principal needs some work
