Father Yermo High School Reviews
i am an alumni of Father Yermo High School. Long ago when it was not coed, but a girl school only. I am a Registered Nurse and have been for 35 years now. I sincerely believe the success I have enjoyed in my life is, in a major way, a result of the education I received in Father Yermo High School. I was the first female to graduate from College in my family. I have been blessed with a great life. I have traveled extensively, Machu Pichu Peru, Habana Cuba, Lhasa Tibet, several cities in China, several places in Canada, through Mexico and the rest of the American Continent.
When I arrived in Father Yermo, I had a very limited knowledge of the English language, poor study habits and little inclination to self discipline or dedication to building my future. I would qualify the effort made by both the sisters and the secular educators as heroic. Their dedication and tenacity, added to my parents commitment, delivered me from a very different destiny, one I now know, would have been filled with hardship and pain.
I know the highly ethical, moral and academic standards this school will instill in the student. This may seem a drag for some of the students at the time, but will be invaluable in the future, when adulthood faces them with an uncertain world and a merciless job market.
I am delighted to see my High School endure, and continue its contribution to our community.
