As a parent of two of the students that attend Bill J Elliott, I would like to say that myself nor my children like that school. My children have attended good schools, so I know a good school when I see one. I don't think Bill J Elliott is the worst school but it's not good either. I would just have to say that that school is okay,And I want my children to go to a school that is better than okay! Just to make a long story short, there is no in school suspension( so if your child is ever involved in anything physical, even if it's just a push he/she will be suspended for 3 days because there is no ISS.I think a child needs to be in school for academic reasons, so ISS is something good to have. I think a child should be suspended depending on the situation/depending on the severity of it. They say they don't have the funding for in school suspension! Wow! My daughter has told me about the teachers making smart remarks to her and others in which she took offense to! They are very unorganized, unprofessional, etc. We live and we learn. I have definitely learned from this experience. The lesson taught was for me to research a school and visit a school before letting my children attend. When my lease is up, I will be moving from the fort worth area so that they don't have to attend Bill J Elliot. I am sure there is some positive things about Bill J Elliott (LIKE SOME OF THE TEACHERS) but that's about it from my experience of dealing with that school.
