About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. Houston Can! Academy Charter School Reviews
Students are given ways to get credits with very little work. Students are able to get answers to test easily. It is not a school that educates. There is also high drug use and very little is done to help the issue. Teachers are let go every six months and certified teachers do not stand a chance due to hiring of uncertified personnel.
I HATE this school! I was an employee there for a short time. The administration was definitely not in control of their students, and the students were VERY disrespectful, and practically thought they could do whatever they wanted. They sold drugs on campus, smoked in the parking lot, and never wore their uniform right...I don't wish this job to one of my worse enemies! They do modify the curriculum but it is completely useless because the students never do their work! I HATE IT!!
I loved this school, they really helped me reach my goal of graduating and they really made sure i understood the material being taught. The teachers were great, i have nothing bad to say about this school and i recomend it to anyone after all when i graduated i had a 3.5 gpo!!!!!
School provides individualized curriculum to meet a student's needs. I have found the staff to be flexible, accommodating and caring.
the worst school i ever been to in my life they stole all my credits
