Gene Pike Middle School Reviews

By , a Parent on

Our District implemented mandatory Fine Arts for all 6th and 7th graders at Gene Pike Middle School.  In a very short period of time, my daughter's newly implemented orchestra program under the direction of Mr. Maciel has become an award-winning, highly sought after program for those in North Texas.  I'm proud that my daughter began as a fledgling musician and has blossomed under this program...I'm thankful the district recognizes the importance of fine arts in correlation to core academic studies.  We have had wonderful teachers all around for two years and expect great things under the new direction of Principal Streeter.
