Lake Jackson Intermediate School Reviews
I moved to Lake Jackson in the early 70s. I came to LJIS in seventh grade. The first day I was there, I was told that you have to say "Yes ma'am" and "No sir" to your teachers and girls could only wear pants on a cold day when the school board approved of it, but no jeans. I thought the electives were crummy, the kids were cliquish, and the teachers weird. Plus, I had a really mean gym teacher who yelled at me practically everyday and embarrassed the **** out of me. Whenever people asked me how I liked Lake Jackson and the schools, I said, "Well, I moved here in October, and in November, I was sending away for boarding school catalogues." Didn't do me any good, because they were too expensive.
I love Lake Jackson Intermediate! It's the BEST SCHOOL EVER!!!!
