Little Elm High School
Definitely behind in curriculum and teaching. The staff does not provide enough tutorial times for students. Staff is short tempered at times. Too many principals. Teens not allowed to go to bathroom without permission at lunch. Loss of documentation by staff. I guess this is what happens in some rural schools that don't change with the times. Returning to Frisco as soon as possible.

Little Elm High School
This school is pretty horrible. As soon as I can, I'm leaving. They've made me contemplated quitting school completely and I now hate going to school. Some of the teachers and staff don't care about the kids at all and it's just a bad school over all

derna: there are most definitely better schools then this, but this one is better then a lot as well. that's why i gave it three stars.

About the TAKS
What is it?
The TAKS is an annual test used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in Grades 3 through 9 in reading, in Grades 4 and 7 in writing, and in Grades 10 and 11 in English language arts. Math skills are assessed in Grades 3 through 11, and students are assessed in Grades 5, 8, 10, and 11 in science, and in Grades 8, 10, and 11 in social studies.
How is it Scored?
Students receive one of two ratings: met standard or commended performance. The goal is for all students to meet the state standard. Students must pass the TAKS tests in grades 3, 5, and 8 in order to be promoted to the next grade, and in grade 11 in order to graduate from high school.
