Mabank Intermediate School Reviews
SOUTHSIDE ELEMENTARY has a lot of problems
I have put 3 kids into Mabank ISD and have pulled all 3 out and placed them into Private School. Many of the teachers just don't care anymore. They are there for a paycheck and could care less about your child. If your kids are smarter than average and don't fit into there "box" your gonna have problems. They talk down to the kids and don't treat them with the respect they deserve. My kids attitude changed drastically from hating the school to waking up excited when we changed schools. That's the way school should be. Kids should enjoy it and have fun learning. The new school treats them like people and the curricular is challenging. I will never forget the horrible teachers and how they treated my kids.
Mabank schools are great!
I am a parent of a student at Mabank who is very active and has a vivid imagination. My word for him is constant. I have had many chances to see first hand how the staff interacts with the students and I am very pleased. It is very hard to work with children and it takes a very special person to do so. I have found that as long as I am proactive with my child and the teachers and stay very involved everything works out. I may not always agree with certain methods but my childs best interest is all I am worried about. From what I can tell the teachers are the same.
Our school is great because of our spirit to combine fun with learning. Our teachers create a fun enviroment for our students while giving them the best instructions toward their academic goals.
