Midland Christian School Reviews
Great High School
Our high schooler transferred to Midland Christian from a wonderful school in another city. Moving can be a real challenge for anyone, but our child is thriving. We have found class sizes to be appropriate for high school and the dedicated teachers and staff have been great to work with. Homework load is at times heavy but this is to be expected with certain classes. National achievement test scores confirmed what we suspected all along, that MCS has been a blessing for our child. We're impressed.
The amount of money I payed to this school is ridicules. It cost 10 dollars to go to the end banquet. My teacher said that Christians should have forgiveness but i got a detention i couldn't promise to sign it so the next day he got another one. This school is full of hypracrets i hate it.
My kids attended this school for two years. The class size is way too large. Its about 23 kids in a classroom. The rooms are too small to fit this many kids. I was very disappointed in the level of education. They offer basic courses to graduate. They spend way too much attention on materialistic things. It's about who has what, who can contribute the most. They increase tuition without letting parents know. It is a beautiful school, but is not worth paying for. I'm sending my kids to have a great education, not sending to a large public school. I moved my kids out of this school to another private school. Best decision I could have ever make for my kids.
Teachers dont care about the students here. The administration is all about wealth.Athletics are biased and unfair.Academics are unchallenging. This school has such an awesome academic record because of the great number of intelligent kids that attend.A minute number of the staff encourages any relationship with Christ unless mandated to give a performance during the daily chapels.I attended elementary through highschool and hated every minute of highschool. I cant count the number of times that I asked my parents to send me to a public school just to get away from the oppressive feeling and general negativity of this place. They wanted me to attend a Christian school and were stretched thin, making sacrifices in order to pay the tuition and wanted me to stay there. There is an incredibly high amount of drug and alcohol abuse among students. The strange thing is that when the school caught a number of star football players in the act of underage drinking they only got a slap on the wrist. These were repeated offenders.Become close to your children at home, instill the correct values yourself, save your money and send your children to a top notch college.
A great school at which you are free to express your love of God. They have a Bible class and Chapel every morning. Though their football coach is...hotheaded, other than that their sports and P.E. classes are amazing. The tuition is high, but for this much quality in education and etc. It is well worth it!
