About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. See Life School Red Oak's test results to learn more about school performance.

Life School Red Oak Reviews
Families and students taking education seriously!!!
We left ROISD to attend Red Oak Life School 2 years ago and have not regretted it one day! The families are very involved and invested in their children's education as well as how they treat others. Life School takes misbehaviors and disrespect towards teachers and fellow students very seriously. This is definitely the type of school I want my children to attend. A school they enjoy going to without fear of bullies and consequences due to others behaviors.
LOVE IT!!! My girls absolutely love the school and so do I. The Staff is terrific and the uniforms rock! (no more arguing about what to wear) I recommend Life School to all my friends to the Red Oak campus and Waxahachie campus also.
The only complaints I have.... Are the lunches. The so called "Hot Lunch" cost $3.10 a day. I do not have a problem paying that amount but what I do have a problem with is.....the school sending a menu home so they can see if they want to buy a "Hot Lunch" for a week in advance and the lunch is not what you paid for. For instance, Mon. Jan. 10,-- chicken nuggets etc... and then feeding your child a cold soggy sandwich instead of the chicken nuggets. I do not pay $3.10 for a soggy sandwich and my child wouldn't have said she would buy if that was being served. Please fix this situation this is not the first time this has happen. I had finally had enough of the cold soggy sandwiches...... Please fix this situation! Its not right.
The safety of my child is my priority and Life School provides the safest environment for her. The parents are involved with their children. The teachers are above par. The atmosphere is positive and professional. I do not have to worry about gangs, which are present at our home`s district. Overall, it is the best environment for school that I know of, including private schools. Plus, I love that my child attends the school with the Cross on top!
My daughters have attended Life School Red Oak for three years. Life school Red Oak is a great school. The school is disverse among the students, but not with the teachers. I wish Life Red Oak would hire more African- American teachers. Life school has its pro and cons. The class sizes can decrease to 20. Overall, I enjoyed this school.
