Huppertz Elementary School Reviews
This will be my childs second year at this school. My overall feelings about the school is: First the communication is not that great. I like to be involved what goes on inside the calssroom and even though there is a monthly calendar, not everything is posted. last Iwas told by the principal that my son had the best k-5 teacher but she nevered return any of my emails or phone calls and I always had to do the asking on my child's progress. I have to pay for my sons lunches and there is no monthly balances that are given out to let you where your childs account stands you always have to call or walk in. I find this a Inconvenience, again it goes back to the whole communication issue. The principle is really nice and she seems to have a hands on and involvment with the school. This I do like. Also, the school has no community functions like fall festival or anything like that, maybe due to location and poverty level not sure, but I don't like this. And the most let downer about the school was the graduation ceremony for k-5 it was not one at all. There was no decorating of the cafeteria or cap or gown and it was very unorganized. I will only be in this school district one more year hopefully my child will not be returning to SAID school district.. I want a better school enviroment for my child. If possible choose another school.
