Schertz Elementary School Reviews

By , a Parent on

I believe this is a great school because of the teachers and the dual language program. . They honestly care about each and every student on campus and make it a point to know every student's name, even the ones not in their class. One of the  problems I have found in this school is with the Christmas music programs. It tends to be the same every year and this past year the staff coordinating it tried to tell parents that they could clap for their child or come down front to take pictures! These parents are proud of their children and no way is the hootin' and hollerin' going to stop! She was also quite rude at her requests.

The only other concern I have is for the contests they hold. For instance the pumpkin decorating contest in Oct. Every year the pumpkin that wins is obviously done by the parent(s). The cute, ugly little messes done by the students themselves never win. Everyone notices this but the judges.

Other then what I have listed, this is a very good school.
