Sunnyvale Elementary School Reviews

the school had its good and bad

Good:  (what I really like)
Elementary, Middle school, and high school is close to each other.
There is bus service, bus picks up in front of the house and drops as well.
There is bus service for tutoring as well - you have to pay.
supplies also, if paid on time, school will take care of it.

Bad things I noticed: (whats bothering!)
NO homework for home, I would really appreciate if they have some homework for practice.  Students need to be really good on basic math, english, vocal...etc.  need practice.
NO uniforms.  Sad!!!!  School does not take serious about uniforms.  If you go to the school, its a fashion show.  FASHION SHOW!!!!!   You can get confused which  is student and teacher.  5th grade students wear high heels!
The school is mostly caucasian and asian.  I noticed extreme prejudice among caucasian.   A lot of racism among white people.  They (whites) act like they are from earth and asians as from Mars!!
Students have serious attitude problems and its treated at school as maturity.

school has repairing to be done.
1. uniforms  ( navy pants for winter, knee high shorts for summer)/ long sleeve shirts for winter/short sleeve for summer)
2.  teachers need to be well taught - in order to teach students.
teachers need to teach students how to treat others respectfully.
young students need to be student not mature adults.
3.  students need to have homework to practice in order to go for next level.

you can feel the atmosphere right on the orientation day itself.

if the school try, it can go long way.
I do not like to complain.

Actually, I'm gonna say it, without asians, the school would have never made it to exemplary!!!!!!!!!!!

Exemplary school with good attention to child educational needs. A great sense of community and balanced learning with a lot of award winning extra curricular activities.

If you have an opportunity to move into will not be disappointed in the schools one bit. We moved here in '07 from out of state and the education is amazing for my children. Amazing.
