About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. Stay away from ALA. Though they brag that they are ranked 5th in Utah by U.S.News, they are only ranked 1947 nation wide. Also a more academic based review by Schooldigger.com ranks them 68th out of 129 Utah schools. Poor communications and favoritism is rampant.
I like ALA because I have seen a lot of improvement
I think they push me to do the best I can do , the teachers teach the concepts really good to the point where I understand how to do the problem. I like the competition at this school .
Great elementary! They will push your child to be the very best they can be. They are interested in parents opinions and I feel like I have control of my child's education. Very dedicated teachers and a wonderful principal who makes the school great including very friendly staff at the front desk!
