sierra mancuso: i must say i was a teenager at high school who caused alot of trouble, but have changed. this school helped with a lot. they helped with myself and get to where i needed to be to suceed and to help me through many hard times. the teachers are great and i give a lot of credit to them for handleing us kids. teachers have helped us to achieve our goals, helped us find out who we are. they are very positive and respect us all equally. colchester high school is very well mainatined and a positive experiance for high schoolers

Colchester High School
This high school consistently ranks high in preparing young adults for the 21st Century workforce as well as for post secondary education. The administration is constantly striving to keep strong academic programs strong and improve ones that have suffered due to budget constraints. Colchester High School has a strong sports program, emphasizing personal health and life long fitness. The same accolades can be given to it's drama program. It's weakest link in Fine Arts is it's music program which has suffered budgetary inattention but has recently acquired two new staff members that have influenced administrators and the school board to rebuild the programs. CHS also has quite a few veteran teachers who will be retiring in the next five years. It has begun to fortify it's staff with young teachers who are bringing a fresh feel to the daunting task of serving public school students under No Child Left Behind. Colchester is a mid-size high school with established opportunities to tap into regional vocational education and potential on-line class offerings.
