In fact, my granddaughter just finished first grade. She will begin 2nd grade in September. My grandson will follow in his sister's footsteps and attend Kindergarten in September.
This is the first year, however, that kindergarten will be a full day program. That is a good thing!
Clearly, I am already proud of the rate of educational and social progress that my granddaughter has achieved in Kindergarten and first grade. Furthermore, I look forward to my grandson's opportunities and achievements, which will begin in the Fall of 2009.
