Otherwise, consider your average child ignored. Got a problem? Save your breath. No matter what, there is always either "no problem" or there is "something wrong" with your child. When kids are having issues (bullying, exclusion, etc) they make the kids feel like garbage by continually reinforcing that there is something wrong with them.
My child is not physically bullied, but he's continually excluded from organzied activities, and the school faciliates and allows this.
We like his teacher this year. but the rest of the school needs an attitude adjustments that tries to include ALL children, not just the gifted and "disadvantaged."
