Deep Creek High School

I would say this is the best school in Chesapeake. The classes are small and it allows students to form a relationship with their teachers. I'm in this new Science & Medicine Academy and you really feel apart of that school. New kids from all Chesapeake schools come to the academy. This is a great school and I encourage anyone to come here and live in this area.

The Standards of Learning (SOL) Assessments are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.

At the end of each course, high school students are assessed in reading, writing, math, science and history/social science subjects .
