Greenbrier Middle School Reviews
Greenbriar is at best an average school. While there are some exceptional teachers such as Mrs. Lohr, everything else is just like an average middle school. As for the "Teams" that they have, (if they still have them, it has been a while since I attended this school) I find this idea to be completely judgmental and wrong. What it actually does is seperate the students by their learning ability and their grades. The students who would be considered to be in AP classes are kept on one team, which is on the other side of the wing, actually sperates them from the "average" students. So much for equality, and everyone being made to feel equal. I honestly only experienced this for my 8th grade year, so thank goodness I was not in that school for long. However, I find the seperation of students based on grades and intelligence (as seen by grades and GPA ONLY) is just as bad as racial seperation. If youre student is on the "Top cats" team in the 8th grade, well... by Greenbriar standards they are the "stupid" kids.
