Tree Of Life Christian Prep School Reviews
This school offers the many benefits of a strong Christian education at an affordable price. The literacy program is top notch with theme-based, well selected unit study books, strong phonics instruction, word study, and programs to promote students' individual reading. Math is taught using manipulatives and skills are reviewed daily. Caring teachers help students in small groups and one on one. Students learn to ski, participate in a musical, lead out in chapel, and have many opportunities to develop a strong connection to God in the Christ-centered program.
This school is a small school with great benefits! The school has a strong language arts program with well chosen literacy books and phonics instruction. There are lots of activities including meaningful field trips. Students participate in community activities, a musical, speaking opportunities, a ski program, and much more. Small classes allow for lots of personal instruction. Students have many opportunities for leadership. The school strives to draw the best out of each child! A wonderful Christian education at a great price!
All in all I love this school. The teachers and students feel like family and are always supportive. The school is always doing new and creative fundraising activities. Also, recently we did a christmas play iHope. This took many wonderful volunteers to help with costumes, set design, and refreshments. Everyone did there part. We work together. I would love though, to have more of a challenge in reading and other forms of literature. I would also like a more updated version of our science book.
I'm a student at TlC. I love the school and environment. All of my friends and teachers feel like family. I especially love the schools christmas plays. Our most recent one was iHope, on December 8, 2011. Every our school does new great things. Even though I love the school i would love to have more of a challenge in spelling, reading, and many other forms of lititure. I would also like the science program to be updated.
We have been a part of the TLC Prep family for 5 years now. For a small school, TLC has a great curriculm and big benefits! Students are challenged academically and taught real life Bible based values. They take part in many leadership opportunities in school and the community. TLC is the best kept secret in Fredericksburg.
I love being a part of such a warm and caring family - from the school's staff and board to the students and parents. I also love that every year we strive to raise the bar for our students, academically and spiritually.
This is a great school. Small teacher to student ratio and tuition is less than the other christian schools in the area. Staff is great and they teach a good balance between Biblical teaching and academic learning.
